Anny ~ Denim
Darling
Textured denim
blue with white bar glitter
I bought this beautiful blue polish last time I was in
Germany. It’s a lovely denim blue which came with a couple of surprises when I
wore it:
- I didn’t know it was a textured polish
- I hadn’t seen that it had bar glitter in it
I don’t mind that kind of surprises though. The formula
is good and I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time was good on
the first layer and a bit slower on layer two, which is not uncommon for
textured polishes.
The stamping design I used is from Lina’s stamping
plate “Make your mark 06” and I stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish
“White”.
I topped the whole thing with a layer of Out the
Door’s holo glitter topcoat “Northern Lights”. There’s an additional layer of
topcoat over the whole thing to smooth out the texture.
Here’s my final manicure taken in ordinary daylight,
no sun:
This is “Denim Darling” on its own; two coats an no
topcoat. The bar glitter is visible here.
These are the things I used for this manicure.
I don’t know if I would have bought this Anny polish
if I had actually seen there was bar glitter in it. But it’s a lovely blue and
I actually don’t think it looks bad in this polish – so it gets to stay with
me.
Note: She needs a lot of topcoat to be smooth on the
nails. I’m wearing two layers of topcoat and she’s still bumpy.
Number of
coats: 2
Drying time: Good after coat number 1, a bit slower after coat number 2.

I probably would
It's an interesting polish and a nice nail art! I think I would have prefered it without the bar glitter though:)
ReplyDeleteI know, most people probably would. I don't think they're overewhelming though :D
