Catrice Chrome
Infusion ~ 04 Unexpected Red
Dark red to
gold duochrome metallic
Today’s polish was a Christmas gift, just like
“Enchanted Camouflage” that I showed you yesterday. Click here to be taken to
that post in case you missed it.
Unexpected Red isn’t much of a colour shifter, but the
shift is there if you twist your fingers into the right angle in the right
amount of light. I didn’t see the shift much in real life and obviously not on
my photos either. The polish itself is more of a metallic shimmer and it’s
beautiful.
I used two coats for my mani. The coverage is really
good and the drying time is pretty good too.
The stamping plate I used is called BP-L018 and I
stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish “Fragrant Mimosa”, which is golden.
I topped it with Out the Door’s “Northern Lights”, a
holo glitter topper which I just love.
Here’s my final manicure. The photo is taken in ordinary
daylight, no sun.
This is just the same thing. I think the two colours
really complement each other.
And here’s “Unexpected Red” on its own, two coats, no
topcoat.
Here are the things I used.
This was a really great Christmas gift; I loved
wearing it.
