Sally Hansen ~ Red Velvet and Catrice ~ C02 Gem of Stones

Sally Hansen ~ Red Velvet and Catrice ~ C02 Gem of Stones
Pinkish red texture and silver/holo glitter

Today I’m going to show you two new polishes. One of them was a gift – I love nail polish gifts!

I started out with “Red Velvet” from Sally Hansen’s “Sugar Coat” line. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was good. It’s a really nice pink-ish red colour that dries up to a silky finish. The polish itself is textured.

I added a layer of Catrice’s “Gem of Stones” from the “Dazzle” collection from 2017. This glitter was a gift from a very dear friend :)

The stamp is from the stamping plate Mezerdoo39 and I stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish “Bisgue”.

This is my final manicure including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken in ordinary daylight.

I quite like the effect you get when you stamp over glitter.

This is two coats of “Red Velvet”. You can both see the texture and the velvet finish. It’s a funny contrast really.

This is the step where I have added glitter. This is a really nice and useful glitter.

Here are the things I used to make my nails pretty today.
