China Glaze ~ Papa
Don’t Peach
Neon orange
coral with golden shimmer
The sun is shining and I was in the mood for a wild
holo with some crazy rainbows. I went to open the Helmer drawer containing my
Color Club Halo Hues, but I accidentally opened the drawer with China Glaze
polishes. I looked over the bottles briefly and “Papa Don’t Peach” jumped right
at me: “Take me, take me!” I took it up and inspected it. It’s a really
beautiful neon coral polish with a great shimmer. It kept insisting and I
thought “Why not” and took it with me to polish my nails with it.
I used three coats for my manicure. I could have got
away with two but I actually think that the third coat makes a difference. The
drying time is good.
Last time I wore this, I wore it on its own. I didn’t
want to do that again so I added dots by the base of my nails. I love this
pattern, that I’ve done a couple of times before.
I used OPI’s “Angel with a Leadfoot” and Glisten &
Glow’s “ATV In Aruba” for the dots.
This is my manicure including a layer of topcoat.
Ooh, look at that beautiful shimmer!
This is “Papa Don’t Peach” on its own, two coats and
no topcoat. The polish dries up slightly textured.
Here are the polishes I used:
China Glaze: Papa Don’t Peach; OPI: Angel with a Leadfoot; Glisten & Glow: ATV in Aruba |
I really like “Papa Don’t Peach”. It’s neon and full
of beautiful shimmer. It’s definitely not the last time I use it!
