Miss Sporty ~ #466
Orange with
subtle pink shimmer
Today I wanted to wear something bright. None of my
untrieds caught my eye so I had a look in a random drawer of a Helmer. #466
from Miss Sporty called out for me. It’s been a year since I wore it so I thought
“Why not?” and sat down to polish my nails with it.
I used three coats for this manicure. I can see that I
wore two coats last time so it’s definitely possible to make it cover in two
coats. The drying time is pretty average.
The stamp is from the stamping plate “Mezerdoo35” and
I stamped with a mix of El Corazón’s White stamping polish and “Burgundy Crush”
from Max Factor, which isn’t originally a stamping polish, but it works great
for it.
I topped it with a layer of “Northern Lights” holo glitter
topcoat from “Out the Door” and this is what it all ended up looking like in
the sun:
Isn’t that just pretty?
I didn’t photograph #466 alone last time I wore it so
I did that today. This is three coats and no topcoat. The shimmer is really
subtle but it’s showing itself a bit when it’s in the sun.
These are the things I used.
I have promised myself many times to reach out for my
many “older” polishes more often. They shall not just sit unloved in the Helmer
forever!
