Great Lakes Lacquer ~ Bob Newby: Superhero

Described as a bright turquoise blue overrun with a red to gold to green shifting shimmer

"Bob Newby: Superhero" is part of a monthly nail polish collaboration box called "For The Love Of Polish". Pahlish and Polished For Days are in the box every month, the third maker changes and for August 2019 it was Great Lakes Lacquer that was the third polish in the box.

The formula was a bit on the sheer side but it covered in two coats on my nails. If you have longer/bigger nails than I do it might take a third to cover the nail line completely. The drying time is good.

I made a few random lines on my nails using an orange stamping polish and a glitter.

Here's how it all turned out.

 

I'm not sure I'd categorize this as "bright turquoise". I do like the shimmer though.

I'm not sure I would have bought "Bob Newby: Superhero" alone, but it's a nice polish nonetheless.

Overall impression: Nice shimmer, that's what does it for me in this polish
