Maybelline: Skyline
Blue
Blue tinted
base with blue, silver and holographic glitters
"Skyline Blue" is a sister to "Purple
Dazzle" that I showed you yesterday. I used three coats to make
"Purple Dazzle" opaque, so I decided to layer "Skyline
Blue" over a dark blue shimmer for a prettier look.
So I applied one coat of Golden Rose's Matte Velvet #104.
It is a gorgeous dark blue matte velvet shimmer. The drying time of that was
good. Then I applied one layer of the glitter "Skyline Blue" and I
loved the look of that.
Then I made three wavy lines on each nails. I used two
Color Club polishes for that: "Crystal Baller", which is an amazing
blue linear holo and what I think is "Kapow!", a beautiful neon pink
with shimmer. It has lost its label, but I'm guessing it's "Kapow!"
:D
Here's the final look, including a layer of gel-look
topcoat; the kind of topcoat that doesn't need to be cured under a lamp.
I think this is really pretty.
This is "Skyline Blue"; one layer over a
Golden Rose Matte Velvet #104. Isn't that just pretty?

Here are the polishes I used today.

I honestly love this polish so much more than I would
have done if I hadn't layered it. I think it's way prettier over a coloured
base than on its own.
Number of

Buy again: I
am not quite sure to be honest
I like it. For sure would have bought all the shades if they showed up here.
