Pink suede

Here’s the second of the three Invogue suedes I bought in London. The third one is coming up shortly :)

I had experienced dragging and bald spots with the first one, so I made an experiment with this one: I used aqua base coat instead of my regular base coat. And it worked! The polish acted as a perfectly normal polish: No dragging, no problems with application, not even on the second coat. So I’ll remember to use that trick in future!

The polish is almost opaque in one coat, but the second layer made it all look just a little bit better. Drying time is amazing, it didn’t take many minutes before I was able to apply coat number two.

The picture is taken in direct sunlight. I’m in love with these suede polishes, I think they look amazing. I’m looking forward to trying the last one of them on too.

These are the pictures you’ll get for today. I did try and make a glitter gradient, but I picked the wrong glitter (Ruby Kisses “Crazy Night Out”), but it looked horrible! The purple glitter had exactly the wrong colour for this pink, and it looked downright messy. So I honestly don’t feel like posting pictures of that – and I also removed it right after having seen how it looked.
