Superchic Lacquer ~ Bubble Freeze

Superchic Lacquer ~ Bubble Freeze
Silver Linear holo

Time was running short so I needed to do a fast manicure today. I picked a silver holo from Superchic because they are advertised as being one coaters. I usually wear two coats anyway but today I wanted a polish were one coat would be enough.

So I applied a layer of Bubble Freeze. It was easy to apply and it dried fast, no worries there. I wasn’t quite happy with the coverage though, I had a few bald spots. I would have applied another layer if I had more time but I hadn’t.

So I stamped on it. The design is from Moyou London’s stamping plate “Holy Shapes Collection-01”. I made a gradient stamp with El Corazón’s stamping polishes “Pumpkin” and “Red”.

This is the final manicure including a layer of topcoat; it’s photographed with flash.

And here’s the same thing taken in regular daylight, no sun.

Here’s “Bubble Freeze” on its own. This is one coat but I see bald spots so I do recommend two coats.

Here’s the polishes and the stamping plate.

I’m not quite as impressed with my Superchic polishes as I was in the beginning. They’re almost one coaters but the wear isn’t fantastic on me, which is a shame. I have still got a couple in my box of untrieds, but I’m not sure I’ll buy more of them.

Number of coats: 1, but it’s not quite enough so I recommend 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Good base polish
Buy again: Yes, I’ll use it for stamping in future.

  1. I almost always do two coats even it has covered in one. Feels better that way. Love the end result of your manicure.

  2. The stamping turned out really great! I usually wear two coats aswell if I'm not going to do nail art, put glitter on etc.
