Powder Perfect ~ Fading Tapestry

Powder Perfect ~ Fading Tapestry
Red scattered holo with golden and holo microglitter

Powder Perfect is an Australian brand that is completely new to me.

So, yesterday I had friends and family over to celebrate my birthday. I chose Fading Tapestry as the polish I was going to wear. I have re-discovered my love for red polishes after a long while, during which time I looked mostly at the teal ones, and Fading Tapestry looks really pretty.

The formula is really good, and the polish was easy to apply. The opacity is good too, and it took two coats to make this baby shine. Drying time between the layers is good too. I applied a layer of Poshé topcoat and then I was ready to take my pictures.

Here’s a sunshine picture:

Isn’t the mix of the scattered holo and the added holographic microglitters just great?!

There’s no need to hide it: I love this polish. It’s right up my alley!

Fading Tapesty also looks great in lower lights, take a look:

This is a winner for sure:

I did a bit of stamping on it. I chose a flower design from and old Bundle Monster plate: BM03 and I stamped with my faithful Essie “Nothing Else Metals”. I didn’t apply topcoat after that.

Here’s my final mani:

See how the floral design matches the ornamental logo on the bottle? I only noticed that when I was looking through the pictures I took.

Here’s a low light picture:

Verdict:
I didn’t really know what to expect from Powder Perfect since this is the first time I’ve come across the brand. This is definitely a winner, and I hope that the other two I’ve got are just as good. The formula, the effect, the drying time and the colour – I can’t find anything negative to report at all: Polished thumbs up from me. It’s a great product!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Removal: A lot easier than glitter, but it did require a little bit of extra effort. No big deal though!
Overall impression: It’s a really good polish, I love everything about it!
Buy again: Yes, absolutely.
